James Buckley is a domestically established guitarist and vocalist currently situated in North London. He has recently graduated from the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Music Performance with a higher diploma in guitar. James has also graduated from Bournemouth University and Trinity College London with honors and grade 8 (pro zone) electric guitar respectively.
James has a well-rounded knowledge of many musical styles having studied Classical guitar from an early age as well as spending several years studying under Owen Edwards (Co-founder of Guitar Idol, author of ‘From Zero to Rock Hero’ & creator of alloutguitar.com). James has also benefited from being taught by some of the best guitarists in the country at the ICMP.
Whilst studying for his degree, James taught several pupils to a high level in his spare time; one of whom has started touring the UK with his band (TheAliceBand). James is currently teaching around London - please see the tuition menu for more information.
James has a colourful history of performing live having played in many venues in East Anglia and London including the Cambridge Corn Exchange. At present, James fronts an acoustic duo called The Jump Cut who are gigging extensively around London.
James is currently writing and recording original material with The Jump Cut as well as fronting an events band.
